Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Majestic Toscanelli. We were delighted with the location. The staff were helpful and welcoming. Padova is a beautiful city full of history and interesting things to see and do. We enjoyed our stay and would enjoy a return visit to Hotel Majestic Toscanelli. more

The location is very good, but service can be improved. Rooms are kind of old although they were clean. Access by car is kind of difficult due to the narrow streets wich also have bars, so during the night there was a lot of noise from the streets. Breakfast was superior to the european standard. Parking not feaseable. more

I stayed here for one night at the beginning of my recent trip to Italy. At 99 euros a night, it was one of the best bargains of my trip. I wish I had stayed longer and commuted to and from Venice. Its location in the old Ghetto is superb: it's on a small alley, and there is a wine... more

Beginning of September we stayed at this family owned hotel for 5 nights. My husband was attending a conference at the Palazzo Bo (University), so it was only a short walk from the hotel. We arrived by car (a little challenging to find, but friendly locals gave us directions). We parked our car at their garage, a couple of blocks... more

This hotel may be a little hard to find but it is an exceptional place. When you leave the hotel in the morning, be sure to remember the landmarks or have the adddress with you because I had the unfortunate experience of almost not being able to find it late in the day when I returned to the hotel. The... more

Spent one night at Majestic in Padova for business. Location is perfect in the heart of the town (avoid cars! it's a labyrinth of one ways). The Hotel is a bit old fashioned, and a refurbishment would be needed. Personnel are very nice. Mini bar was insufficient (just held one soda, one beer and mineral water). Bathroom (actually only shower)... more

Our one night stop-over in Padua, enroute from Venice to Florence, turned out to be a surprising and happy experience; we wished we had planned at least one more day for this interesting town less over-run with tourists. The hotel is quite lovely and hidden down a twisty side street yet less than a block from the commercial heart of... more

This hotel is well appointed and excellently located in the historic centre of Padua. Our suite was comfortable and buffet breakfast very good by Italian standards. Hotel staff were helpful but not intrusive. However, the noise outside from the bar opposite in the evening was dreadful. Sometimes it went on until the early hours of the morning. This was not... more

Wonderful little hotel worth every penny. I believe it is a 4-star. Since Padova is a smaller city, you get a lot more for your money than a similar lodging in Rome. The staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Location couldn’t be beat, close to the markets and main commercial strip. (Try the little seafood cart in the Piazza della... more

If you are looking for location, location, location then this hotel cannot be beaten. Certainly not easy to find as it really is tucked away in the old city 'ghetto' - worth taking a taxi to the hotel. Very helpful Reception staff who went out of their way to assist especially with restaurant recommendations and table reservations (nearby Dal Capo... more
