Beautiful views over Aosta and up to the Mont Blanc, very nice rooms with balconies, friendly service and the most wonderful breakfast with excellent selection of home-made cakes & breads, cheese, cold cuts, fruits, juices, etc., large beautiful swimming pool and kiddie pool and lawn with lawn chairs. Would return any time! more

The hotel choices in Aosta proper looked pretty dismal, so we went with this interesting "Italian Alpine" Inn located about a mile across the river, in a quite residential neighborhood (with grapevines and chickens). Good breakfast, interesting building to explore. We found nice, reasonably priced dining on one of the old pedestrianized streets in the heart of town itself. more

Fantastic hotel, in a great location. Some reviewers have complained about the walk into town, but we found that it only took 15 mins and what better way to kick start your digestive system after a four course Italian meal?!!! The scenery from this hotel is unbelievable. The rooms are somewhat on the functional side, but the ambiance within is like something we never experienced. Very homey and comfortable. Excellent stay. The hotel is very clean, with a nice heated jacuzzi, a great view of the mountains, and very helpful staff. Do NOT miss Brasserie Bussayaz, two blocks up the hill for the best pizza I had in Italy...I would definitely recommend this hotel. more
