Schloss Labers has an intriguing, if chequered past, and the castle itself seems infused with its own history. Ancient portraits and family trees adorn the walls, and the wood panelling and grand staircases give an impression of ancient Teutonic grandeur. Had a wonderful three days at this amazing hotel.
