I booked this hotel as it was rated as "Number 1 in Pavia." Not disappointed, but no “wow” factor either, and certainly wouldn’t want to venture to a lower Number if this is Number 1!
The Good : Rooms are clean, modern, functional. Free internet with password from reception. Breakfast was limited, but good, standard Italian fare.

Just got back from visiting my partners son and his Italian girlfriend in Pavia Italy. Stayed at the Aurora Hotel in Pavia. Very close to the train station and the town of Pavia. Very clean and tidy staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast very healthy (no fry ups)! drinks at the bar not too expensive all in all enjoyed our stay....

Nothing special, it's overpriced (worth 50-60 EUR) but the personnel is very friendly and location is good (few minutes walk from the historical center).

Although not located in the old city center, it's just a short walk away from there and in exchange for that you will get well maintained, clean rooms and friendly, personal staff.

The hotel is located almost directly opposite the station; which is a short walk from the city centre and the university. Rooms were clean and free internet is provided.
