We had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights in Milan at the Contessa Jolanda Hotel, we found this hotel was in a great location only minutes from the subway and 3 stations into Milan Central Station and it was very easy to find. We were close to many restaurants (approx 5 min walk) from the Hotel and there were... More

I did not enjoy this hotel at all. Let me start by listing some of the issues I had: - the lifts were not reliable. I tried going up to 8th floor for breakfast and the lift refused to go there. On other occasions, it would also just refuse to go to floor 0 or 4. - Don't even think... More

This hotel was fine. It was a bit far from center city, but was resonably priced and close to the metro. The directions to the hotel from metro were a bit confusing so I took the long way there. Once I found it, back and forth to metro station was easy. The room was nice and clean. The bed was... More

Wonderful hotel! Very big rooms, with kitchen and balcony. Clean and quiet too. Breakfast was varied ( if you get there early ) and delicious. The restaurant has got a delightful atmosphere, decorated as a little boat. Nice staff, especially a receptionist who spoke good Spanish. In the lobby, you can have a free drink ( coffee, tea or juice... More

You are in the slums of Milan if you stay here. Think of passed out homeless people on the park bench that is just behind the hotel. I didn't find it safe for my wife to be out alone in this area. The hotel itself is actually quite nice. We got a kitchenette with a descent size room (keeping in... More

The location of the hotel is not the best, although the Metro is not too far away (about 10-15 minutes on foot). Air con was not great, but just about working. Window shutters were not working. Price was fantastic though. More

We were overall happy just would have been nice if there was coffee tea facility provided in our room. Was close walking distance to train station. More

Our room/suite was clean, spacious and well fitted out with tiled floors, fully working over-bath shower, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a large balcony - more like an apartment than a hotel room. Contrary to other reviews we didn't see any signs of shabbiness or decay (apart from crumbling concrete on the outside of the balcony). As mentioned... More

Although not in the centre, it was only five minutes from the metro (Linea A) which was seven stops from the Duomo. The room was spacious complete with small kitchen (though there was nothing to cook with, not even a cup and saucer!). Breakfast was good with a mixture of hot and cold food and typical sweet pastries. They even... More

It is a nice hotel with big rooms (usually with a small living room and a kitchenette as it also serves as Residence for long stays) and the breakfast offers quite a variety of choice. However it would benefit from a refurbishment as the rooms are dated, especially the bathrooms. All in all though very good value for money. More
