Had a great weekend staying at The Grand Visconti. Its far enough out of the city centre and not having to pay city centre exorbitant prices - 50eu for a panini and salad with two drinks in Duomo! - and only 4 stops on the Metro to the pretty part of Milan. The metro is a 5 minute walk from... More

Quite a walk from the center and the staff are unbelievably rude. they charge you extra for WiFi, To use the pool, to use an iron. Everything is an extra! Its not cheap to start with but by the time you have finished its a fortune! Take my advice and stay at the hotels around republica. Much easier to get... More

Situated in a very convenient area, this premise is heavily affected by traffic noise (at least plain classic rooms are), and windows aren't good enough to protect. To make things worse, there wasn't any air conditioning when I was there (end of March) and I had to open the windows to cool the place (26 centigrades with switched-off heating). Desk... More

This was the second time that I stayed at the hotel and I would certainly reccomend it, especially for the business traveler. Great for tourists as well that don't want to be near the crowds of the Duomo or want more residential surroundings than the hotels near the rail station (Centrale) offer. Even though it is not centrally located, there... More

Had to laugh when I saw the little plastic coffee cups described by other Trip Advisor reviewers, especially since the hotel kept responding that they were "evaluating other options". Italy, home of espresso and an incredible coffee culture, and PLASTIC cups? Is so contrary to the upscale image the hotel is trying so hard to achieve! Would rather have had... More

Dear Caljogger, we thank you for taking the time to write down your review. It is true we are evaluating other options other than the plastic cups in the rooms for the coffee facilities, however as you are probably aware, it take time and it is not something we can change from one day to another.
