My husband and I stayed at the Melia Hotel in Milan for our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, it was fantastic. We came early (about 11am) and registered since we couldn't fully check in. When we came back in the late afternoon, our luggage had already... More

This is a very nice hotel. I can't comment on the price because my company took care of everything. Friendly front desk staff. Very nice and spacious rooms. Everything spotless, especially the bathroom. Nice workout facitlity and business office to get online or print out documents. Nice quiet par of town with a subway and supermarket right around the corner.... More

I have stayed at the Melia a few times over the years and was never disappointed. My stay this week was no exception, its a good standard hotel which does most things very well and is in a good location near to the Fiera and the San Siro Stadium. Rooms are comfortable and clean if a little dated. Think the... More

Hotel is located not too far from regular attractions what Milan has to offer. Metro/Train station is in the vicinity and this makes the location convenient. I am still finding it difficult to understand if the hotel is "tired looking" or if it has got the "old charm". The standard rooms are definitely small and tired looking. The executive rooms... More

Stayed at the Melia Milano for 2 nights - pretty unremarkable really. Cannot see how the hotel is rated 5* but apparently it is. Room was clean & tidy, well appointed, as was the bathroom. Location is very "local" and is fine if you want to use the metro. Otherwise it is a €25 taxi ride to the middle of... More

Dear BigTaps, I'm sorry to come to know his disappointment in this way. Specifically about the Saturday's morning noise. We are committed to the renewal of certain but this mustn’t interfere with the regular life of the hotel and the guest’s stay. I have already shared his information with all the staff so that there will be no more such... More

The hotel is - I think - in a good central location. I have to say "I think" because I lost all sense of direction spending 45 minutes in a taxi between railwaystation and hotel for what is not more that a 10 mile distance. The traffic in Milan is just a mess. The hote looks nice in a grand... More

Dear Nico_Nelly, The Meliá Milano is situated well away from the chaotic traffic of Milan, but as you say the traffic doesn’t make it easy to cross the city with a car or a cab. Luckily the hotel, located in touch a Lotto’s subway stop, it is just a few minutes ride on the Milan metro from both the new... More

This is a very nice hotel located close to the subway route. If you are visiting Milan, Italy, you may want to consider staying here because it is quiet and comfortable. It's a large hotel, similar to a Hilton or Hyatt. It has a grand staircase! I was met by a friendly and attentive staff. The hotel restaurant is very... More

Dear Chris500, Meliá Milano is located in the Fieramilanocity, it is just a few minutes ride on the Milan metro from city centre. The public transport, especially the underground, are efficient and they are the right solution to city museum visit or shopping’s day careless. Thank you for choosing us for your stay. This hotel was situated in a great area of Milan to really get a great taste of milan's local eateries, grocers and neighborhood feel. Also access to subways is great. Hotel rooms were sparse, beds were hard. Food was pretty good but very busy hotel-lots of events/meetings happening at one time. Prefer this side of Milan over Westin Palace!!! More

Kindly BotRoad, the Meliá Milano is situated with in touching distance of the beating heart of Milan’s financial district, yet at the same time well away from the chaotic traffic of the big city. You’re right, the neighborhood is so pretty and there are so many cute restaurants and typical taverns to spend some hours in friendship eating Italian flavors.... More

This hotel seems really out of place in its out of the way side street location, but is a great find. It's gloriously over the top, especially the foyer, and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's probably a good 4 star rather than 5 star, and the gym is expensive, but overall it's good... More
