The place is located at the very center of the town of Mantova in an old house. The owners are very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and very relaxing, with a charming touch of antique. The rooms are beautiful and even if not all of them have their own bathroom the bathroom we had to share with another couple... More

Usually not having our own bathroom is a deal-breaker for us, but the rooms looked so pretty on the website that we went for it anyways and were not disappointed. The bathroom was also quite pretty! We called ahead when we got close and Massimo met us on the street with a parking pass and tips. During check-in he gave... More

We didn't book a b&b in advance when we arrived in Mantova. We searched and found this place and we where very pleased. The welcome was very warm and we felt immediatly relaxed. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was good, close to the city-center. The host where very friendly and they helped us with our questions. Some people complain... More

It was a delight to find this B&B - 3 mins. of the Palazzo Duacale it was just perfectly situated in Mantova. The house silently speaks of the noble age in Mantova and yet the owners were able to bridge noblesse with modern clarity and finesse. We thoroughly enjoyed this mix of old & new. The rooms are extremly clean... More

I booked this B&B after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and we were very happy with this B&B! You feel very privileged being able to stay at this unique and authentic palazzo. The owners are extremely helpful and nice! The courtyard is lovely to relax in, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was copious with a wide spread of... More

I write to counter the "disappointing" review by shfitz. 1. If you don't know how to read a map and can't find such a simple address, don't blame your host for your incompetence. 2. It's a B&B - of course you share bathrooms. The hosts don't conceal this. 3. If you don't like strangers ignoring you at breakfast, introduce yourself.... More

We stayed in Mantova just one night with the sole purpose of visiting Dal Pescatore in Runate. My cab driver from Verona airport called Antonella on the way down (several times) and got directions to the B&B. Antonella was waiting outside when I arrived and promptly gave me a tour of the lovely grounds. While the B&B is on a... More

We stayed for a night in the Armellino. Initially, I was very excited about the prospect of staying in a small B&B in the centre of Mantova. On the web it looked like just the sort of place in which I love to spend time. Unfortunately, once we arrived the rot set it. We had a great deal of difficulty... More

We used Mantova as a stop-over point while driving through Italy. Mantova is a really nice little town, very low key compared to some of the tourist traps in the near-by Lake Garda region. The B&B itself was very stylish. We had the red room, which was huge - plenty of space for 3 people + 1 travel cot. Breakfast... More

Armellino is a great choice for visitors to Mantova, who wish to explore the city centre and stay nearby. Rooms are located at the first floor of a Palazzo. We got given a great room, large and quiet and facing an internal cortile from which you could see the dome of Sant'Andrea. The Decor is simple and modern, with an... More
