We just returned from a two night stay at the san lorenzo and we found it superbe in all senses. The lady who owns it now (3rd generation) follows the guidlines of her grandfather who considered everyone a pesonal guest and to be treated as such. The atmosphere and furnishings, complete with stamps on all the walls and mirrors have... more

Stayed here two nights. Room had a balcony where we sat outside to eat breakfast. Located by an ancient church and a main square with wonderful restaurants. Staff was kind, and helpful. Antique furniture was charming. A real Italian experience. more

Being Brits we do not tend to complain but this one is one to miss. When we arrived the room was hot and humid. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned on as it was not working and were told it would take about 2-3 hours to work. Still not working by the end of the evening we... more
