This hotel is quite lovely with lots of tasteful art, elegance and very pleasant staff, but we were lucky we were on the third floor and could open our windows without too much traffic noise as it was extremely stuffy and hot. I checked with another guest and she found the same and was very unhappy about it. So I... More

We stayed at this hotel last week. It was overpriced. Cean and tidy but boring. No value added by the staff. More

I stayed at the Rechigi for only one night, thankfully. The entrance is impressive, all marble and "boutique" sculptures. This is where the experience ends, as the rooms are terrible and the bed is like sleeping on a board. The Hotel presents 4 stars; however, this is no way a 4 star hotel. The rooms have all the trimmings of... More

Stayed here for a week as my partner was working in Italy and the location was good for me to amuse myself in the day. The breakfast staff were friendly, but reception were so arrogant! Don't whatever you do, is have any laundry done here, you will need a bank loan! And it took 4 days, not 1 day as... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night on a stop-over on the way north, in the middle of a heatwave in August. We opted for the slightly more expensive superior room for 150 Euros and were not disappointed. The room offered modern design, perfect practicality and powerful air-conditioning. The whole hotel is definitely for you if... More

I've just read the reviews from talkative in 2005 and sadly have to agree entirely with that review. 5 years on and the place is still grim, grey and lifeless. We arrived by train and walked into town. The tourist information will not advise on which hotels are good or bad, they will only give you a list of hotels... More

We came across this hotel travelling in the region and it was the first with 4 italian stars we tumbled upon. We got a rate of 120 euro including breakfast. Went to see the room and it was good enough. Because of the location merely 50 mtrs from the centre-pedestrian zone it was good. As you can see it is... More

Arranged for a 1-night stay in the Rechigi as a walk-up. Hotel lobby is misleading. Rooms are worn and have paper thin walls that let in street sounds and noise from other rooms and common areas -- and not just a little; noises are VERY audible. Breakfast is a preposterous 20E per couple for fare that is no better than... More

This is basically a very comfortable, good, clean three-star hotel. The breakfast buffet is nothing special, but the staff are all pleasant and helpful, although you aren't staying at the Mandarin Oriental, so don't expect anything extraordinary. I mean, c'mon, this is the heart of Lombardy, I was already surprised the staff smiled! When I stayed there my room wasn't... More

We messed up with our dates on the Euro 2007 tour so we found ourselves leaving Tuscany on Saturday morning but with nowhere to stay on Saturday night. We should have been off to Venice but the hotel wasn't booked there 'til the Sunday This left us with a free night, so instead of heading straight for Venice we opted... More
