I agree with previous comments on this Hotel - we had five weddings in the first 8 days of our stay. On one day even the pool area was being used so we were banned from the pool!! Each evening,when a wedding took place, we had to eat in a different part of the Hotel - even in the corridor.... More

This is a beautiful high end hotel with spectacular views. The breakfast buffet on the outdoor terrace each day was spectacular. The breakfast staff catered to your every need and the food variety and selection was very good. The villa is quite nice place both inside and outside. The staff was very helpful (in restaurant, at the reception, room service). The hotel also provides a free shuttle service at certain time to the centre of Stresa. Villa’s taxis are great. What a beautiful hotel. Unlike some of the other comments we found the staff very friendly, service good, cleanliness excellent especially of the pool and restaurant areas. I do agree the hotel is busy with weddings but on the evening we had a meal in the restaurant the wedding did not interrupt our enjoyment. Thoroughly deserves its 5 star status. More

The hotel is very nice on the outside, a lot of money has been poured into the exterior, but unfortunately the rooms have not received the same level of attention.
