Travelled off season, found hotel very noisy, road noise came through double glazing, tiles and walls made clear all noises in other rooms, including hairdryer sounding like Hoover. Clenaers hovering at 8am, gardeners cutting plants and hovering leaves at the same time. Room very hot, temperature control continuously in need of resetting. Unhelpful staff. Wifi not working.

We stayed at this hotel in September 2005 for 3 nights. Our room was beautifully decorated and had a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff were very helpful and the food (and wine) in the hotel restaurant was fabulous. An added bonus is that the hotel is owned by the Ca dei Frati vineyard which is about 10-15 minutes walk...
