This hotel was mostly exceptional. The rooms were large for European standards, well decorated and clean. The A/C worked really well and during summer you need that. The staff was accommodating and polite. Families here will have a wonderful time. The hotel does a disservice to itself in not marketing their private lagoon properly. As above, the staff is very helpfull and I liked the private beach (on rocks) a lot, the views are great but it is old fashioned and slitghly smells of old actually. Though seeing that everything is fairly pricey in the area (Portofino mainly), this is a good value for money choice. more
