This hotel is quite new and at very good location. The staff are friendly and helpful to introduce you nice restaurant where local people go. Also they suggest you the best schedule according to the season and weather you should take, which is not completely the same with travel book. This kind of hotel has real hospotality of Italy.

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting the Cinque Terra - should have stayed more. We had a little trouble finding it, with only a small sign on the building wall amongst many other signs, and right opposite the busy markets. The building appears a little old from the outside and when going into the building foyer and lifts... More

I love it, just that I love this hotel. There is no staff the owner is the staff. Is a really nice young lady and her boyfriend that helps you with everything. Even when you have a car problem with hertz and she helped me to translate and be able to talk to the attendant on the phone. When I... More

Where to begin with our stay at urban chic in la Spezia? Can't recommend this hotel enough. I've done my share of traveling in Europe and this hotel definitely ranks very highly on my list of outstanding values. The rooms are very modern, right up there with the coolest boutique hotels in New York or San Francisco. Also very clean,... More

we stayed in La Spezia as a base for the Cinque Terre. This was a better idea then staying in the busy .and overcrowdwd towns on the cinque terre. Just a 30 min train ride to Riomaggore the 1 1 st town of the 5. Rooms were modern. With nice little touches. We asked for and got twin beds. Breakfast... More

If the air conditioning would have been working while we were there, I would have given it a 4 star. It is a really great hotel (B&B) with a modern touch. Our room was spacious with enough furniture, good bed and big windows. The bathroom had a nice shower with lots of water pressure and has plenty of space as... More

The fact that Urban Chic House is located about halfway between the station and the port of La Spezia makes it a perfect base for excursions to Cinque Terre, Porto Venere etc. The hostess is very informative and provides guidebooks available to her guests which even may be brought along on your trips. The rooms are well furnished and clean.... More

Beautiful boutique hotel or B&B. Extremely new and up to date and a great place to stay for one night before heading to Monterosso. Very good value as the room was large, clean with a scenic balcony overlooking a quiet road. Highly recommended if you want to stay in La Spezia.

Certainly there are pros to staying in the Cinque Terre villages themselves: amazing views and a head start on the trails before the day trippers arrive. However, the B&Bs and hotel tend towards rustic and more expensive, so we chose to stay at Urban Chic House at La Spezia, the nearest major town (with transfers to Cinque Terre every 30... More

This little boutique hotel is just amazing. Don't let the frontage put you off or the entry hall. Take tiny elevator to the second floor and the owner will greet you and take you to a little gem. When you first walk in you are overcome with how modern and clean it is. It has only been open 6 months... More
