Cinque Terre is wonderful. although Il Giare is not centrally located, Lorianna's and Federica's hospitality made up for this. The walk up to Il Giare is not bad at all if you are relatively fit and healthy, there are 160 steps to climb. The area is breath-taking, we hiked from Monterosso to Vernazza and explored the rest via rail system.... More
