Coming from Holland going to Rome and Naples following SSAurelia, I Pianelli in Berceto (Autostrada Parma - La Spezia) is a perfect stopover. Very kind personel, good price, clean sanitory equipment. Recommended!

High in the cool, windy Appenine Mountains, great views out over the forested valleys. A warm welcome, a conversation between me (who can't speak much Italian) and the manager (who doesn't speak any English), but we get the job done. Ciao! Bella! Lots of permanent residents in their cottages/houses, a store and bar, excellent showers and washroom facilities.
