It is only a ten minute walk into the old town, via the Park makes it a pleasant excercise. The hotel therefore is convienent to drive out to see the sights (Lamborgini Factory or Parmasean Cheese Factory) or walk into town for dinner. Ask the staff for guidance, they are happy to help.
The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy.

Was booked here for business trip, web site looked ok, with mixed reviews wasn't expecting much so wasn't too disappointed.
Room had no tea, coffee facilities, its was very warm but it was -4 outside (Feb 2012), old crt tv, clean. Free access to internet, but had to pay for password and download time. Scam.
Breakfast Ok, hotel staff helpful....

This is an excellent hotel, conveniently located and highly recommended. The service is very good, the rooms top notch and the breakfast a real treat!

The first hint that the staff is distant, too busy to help you and engaged in far too more engaging activities than helping the patrons was the fact that there was nobody at the entrance...

This grand, old-fashioned hotel is full of charming character, despite being used primarily for business travellers and conference attendees (or so it seemed). It's clean and rather shiny, quiet and pleasant. It's also handy for walking into the centre of Parma, especially if you choose to use the rear entrance (cross the small bridge and walk through the park).
The...
