Jsut very close to the city centre if you have the chance to go in town. It is an old styled hotel and the rooms are quite small. There is no internet available in the room. Not very convenient for buisness travellers. There is though a great restaurant on teh basement. A quite expensive one.

Just few meters from Central main square and Duomo, this traditional Italian Hotel has a very good service, excellent free of charges breakfast. Rooms are old styled but comfortable and well equipped. Parking may be a problem, cars should be left at street or use free valley service. All in all very recommendable; for sure will be back.

Lovely old style hotel in the middle of the old city center of Modena. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great help with parking the car. In this center of Balsamico, Ferrari and Masserati one get and will never have a dull moment.

A fairly large hotel in a quiet location yet within about 5 minutes walk from the historic centre. Good restaurants are plentiful and nearby. A little old fashioned but fine, helpful staff, okay breakfast, for me wi-fi worked very well from my room on 3rd floor which overlooked nice garden with terrace. Comfortable beds with sheets and blankets.

I spent 5 nights at the Canalgrande whilst on Business in Modena. It is in a great location on a quite street. Rooms wer small, but hey, which European hotels arent!
