A decent roomy & clean hotel with good friendly staff (seemed to under staffed to be honest?) but was expensive for what it was. This hotel is located on a busy motorway intersection, yet is only accessible down a long and windy lane, across a filthy building site. There is literally nothing nearby. As it was no.3 on your popularity index, I booked a night's stay en route from Firenze to Verona. The corridors to the rooms reminded of my college room dorms 26 years ago. I stayed at Holiday Inn Modena last October for only one night. It'a huge, anonymous 8-floors concrete building beside the A1 motorway, a good place to stop if you are tired driving, but only that. We needed somewhere to stay for one night, traveling from Siena to Milan. This was a cheap and easy hotel to stay at, compared to prices in Milan or Bologna.
