The Hotel San Donato is in a great location within easy walking distance to the main square. Good central Hotel short walk from main square, pleasant staff ,clean & comfortable very pleasant bar & roof terrace, restaurants within walking distance. The only problem was poor lighting in the bedroom and the sound proofing, because of the ceramic floor could hear a lot of noise in the room above.( choose a room on the top floor.) more

Fantastic location - a couple of minutes walk from the main centre, two towers, piazza maggiore, restaurants etc. Hotel very clean, staff extremely helpful (spoke reasonable english). I don’t know if we were unlucky, but the room was pretty poor. A huge amount of money needs to be spent to bring the rooms from the 1970’s when they were last refurbished to the present day. A huge disappointment that it had a tiny telly (television to you Americans!!) no bath an ancient shower that did not work... more
