It is a bit out of city centre, but okay for travellers with a car. It is situated in a flat-house area. The hotel itself is a bit worn-out, but room (304) was nice and large. Some modern luxury lights in bathroom, which already don't work properly. Breakfast below average. Internet available in the room. Reception guy was very nervous... More

We stayed in Bologna for just 2 nights and this provided the a good base at an affordable rate. The rooms are small but decor is bright and modern. Views are a bit industrial. There is free internet access in reception which we made good use of when deciding where to eat.. The reception staff (especially Simon) were brilliant and... More

We (a mid 30’s couple) stayed in the Alloro suite hotel for 4 days in Early Aug 2010. Whilst we had nothing really bad to say about it, we had nothing great either!. It is a brand new shell in an old building located about 25-30 walk from the Centre (and we are brisk walkers). We walked to and from... More

Lovely small hotel, bit to far from city centre. Nice staff, breakfast was great. More

We had one night in Bologna and wanted to stay at a place that wouldn't break the budget, but would be convenient, especially since we had our 9 month old with us. The Alloro Suite Hotel fit the bill perfectly. It was amazingly cheap, just $70 or so/night for two fine rooms (one for us, one for our au pair).... More

Room was nice, clean and quiet. Service was really bad, especially during breakfast and night reception. Every morning I would go to breakfast (at 8:30 AM) and everything was already over. The waiter had so much work to do (so stressed!) we felt bad and nearly asked if he needed help. While the morning receptionist were friendly and attentive, the... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel in May 2010. The rooms are nicely decorated, could be a little refreshed (little holes in the wall, painting could be redone). They claim to be an eco-friendly hotel but they give you new towels every morning even if you put them on the hanger (which in other hotels means you don't want... More

We stayed at the Alloro Suite hotel for 1 night. The room was very nice and spacious, with many tasteful modern touches. Breakfast was good. Incredible value (we paid some 60 Euro). The location is a little out of the way in a very residential neighborhood, but you're only a 1 Euro ride away from the center of town. The... More

Stayed here for three nights in October for a first time visit to Bologna. For the money paid this hotel ticked all the right boxes. As other reviews have highlighted it is outside of the centre so if that matters to you, book elsewhere. It takes around 10 minutes on the no 25 bus to the station or 15 mins... More

The first thing to say about the hotel is that it is approximately 2kms from the heart of the city. I have seen this as an excuse to mark the hotel down on other sites - but the truth is it is a 30 - 40 minute walk from anywhere you want to go, or if walking isn't your thing... More
