Small hotel in a great location. Friendly service. Only issue could be the steps for some travelers. My room was up 3 flights. Other than that a good choice. Make sure to try the gelato down the street at Gianni's. more

The Hotel Due Torri is in a really good location. 10 minutes (slow) walk from the main square and the two towers and about 20 minutes walk from the train station at the other side of the town. The staff are friendly and whilst the hotel is small and isn't going to win any awards for interior decorating, it's pretty... more

location was the only good thing about this hotel. priced more than average Manhattan and very poor performance. rooms are small, beds are small and not comfortable, window open on a wall, you can listen to everybody talking in the corridors or in the hall, tv channels are random and lacking even the basic broadband signal- of course none of... more

The hotel is very central to the town, with friendly staff, easy car parking in the streets nearby at 4Euros a day and a great gelateria close by. It is however, very small, with lots of mirrors everywhere to make the place look bigger. Steep stairs to the reception on the first floor, and even more to our third floor... more

I was horrified with this hotel. Although in a central area, I would never stay here. The entrance to the hotel reminded me of a run-down pensione showcasing both broken mirrors and pottery. Macabre Christmas lighting intertwined with ancient, dusty fake ivy gave me the chills. The breakfast room looked like the entrance to a Sicilian funeral parlor. The room... more

My husband and I satyed in the small, but perfectly formed hotel over our second anniversary in Sep '04. The rooms were small, but clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel's central location is a HUGE bonus as well as the ice cream parlour at the end of the road whcih sell the BEST ice cream... more

We spent four nights here in mid-October, 2004. The stairs up to the lobby is a killer climb. Our room was dark, and poorly furnished. We would not stay here again. more

Visited the Due Torri in September 2003 and once I got over the quiet setting (down a narrow road on a Sunday afternoon), walked just two blocks and found the evening passagieto going on, I knew I was fine. I had a double room single use for 117EUR and, though small, it was fine. Great bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast was... more

Having chosen Due Torri partly because of a reference to "garage" and "parking" on its website, we were a little disappointed to find that "garage" is 3 streets away at a cost of ?20 per night and "parking" means in the street, if you can find a space, at a cost of ?10 per day! That said, the parking ticket... more

This hotel makes a good home base for exploring Bologna. It's only a 5 minute walk to the centre and is located on a quiet side-street. The hotel has recently been redone and has all the necessary conviences of a three-star hotel except for an elevator. But don't expect a modern-type hotel. It is easy to visualize this hotel as... more
