This hotel is apparently an exclusive hotel in the center of Rome. It is nothing like we've experienced through all of our travels. From the map of Italy engraved in old brick to the arched ceilings made of genuine Italian stone, this place satisfied our every need. The rooms were spacious and the floors were lined with 18th century marble. We had this wonderful street view of a beautiful church where opera concerts are performed daily on one of the liveliest streets in Rome, yet our nights were as noise free as an internal view room. The designer was smart enough to install double windows to block out all of the bustling noise of one of the most energetic cities. The service is exceptional. The guy who owns the place owns other properties under the Matisse Properties logo. When we are in Rome again this is definitely the place we are going to stay. Beautiful and central within walking distance of practically everything. We recommend this place with our highest regard. more
