If you book this "hotel" be aware that is a 3 bedroom apt, not a hotel, not even a B&B nor hostel. There is no reception, when you arrive at the location (near Termini) you have to call a phone number to have them meet you to "check" you in. Now if you're like me and travelling from the states, you can guess what this means in roaming charges from your cell phone provider. Otherwise try finding a pay phone, having the right coins, and knowing how to dial local Rome numbers. Yea. This left me and my husband stranded in the hot June sun, exhausted from having driven the entire afternoon from Naples, we stood on the curb for 3 hours. I did manage to call using my cell, but they didnt even pick up. Because its location, despite being central, it is the train station: in Europe this means shady. Lots of prostitutes and drug addicts kept walking by over the 3 hours, making you feel weary of your surroundings.
