I stayed here as a leader of a tour group in March of 2007 and would recommend it for anyone visiting Rome on a budget. It is out of town a bit (not within walking distance to Forum, etc) but is only 2 blocks away from main metro line and as such transport into city is easy and cheap. It... more
Casa La Salle is a clean hotel outside of the city center but close to the vatican and metro stop. The beds were adequate, and the hotel is clean. I believe it is run by the fransiscans.
