first of all, i understand this is a budget hotel and that for the price, one cannot expect much. however, bedbugs and insects all over the room are something that i cannot tolerate no matter how cheap the room is.

Nice inexpensive hotel, at a great central location (very close to Termini, also 20 minutes walking from Colloseum and Spanish steps and other Rome features). Very basic, almost no features (does offer cheap wireless Internet access), including no proper breakfast but that obviously to keep price low. But who goes to Rome to sit in a hotel room...

The hotel is located five minutes from Termini station and basically a walking distance from major tourist attractions. This unfortunatelly means a lo-ot of noise at night, so light sleepers might not like it. The staff is helpful. I didn´t expected too much for 2 stars, but this 2 block away place from Termini, for 160,- Euro family room (2 nights) was more then sufficient.
Kind people in 24h reception, lift and no "one person" staircase, fair breakfast delivered to room (you can choose time, tea or coffee, bakery). Baggage after check-out without problem...
I´ve seen many worse...
