The Residence Candia was our final stop on our European honeymoon. We spent one week in Rome and stayed in this apartment for the entire week. There were definitely some pros and cons. Pros: We loved the location. It is close to the Vatican and a Metro stop. The young lady that checked us in around 8:30 a.m. was very... More

Dear JessMess80, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experiences at Residence Candia and we would like to express our deepest concern about any less than positive comment about your stay. We are surprised because we were not made aware of these problems at the reception during your stay. The apartment we gave was a Superior Studio,... More

We were pleasantly surprised by Residence Candia. Our family of 9 stayed in 2 apartments for 6 nights. Both of the apts were fully furnished with ample beds for sleeping, the kitchens were completely stocked with pots ad pans, plates, glasses, coffee mugs and coffee maker, and lots of silverware! The apartments were super clean, the air conditioners worked wonderfully.... More

Positive. Location, good safe area, close to the Vatican, nearby foodstores. Kitchenette. Good space in room. The helpful staff in the reception, the cleaning and the technician. Negative. Frontdoor let in noise and if we had people running in the corridor it would be disturbing. The outer room, of our two, wasn´t a choice really for a light sleeper. We... More

I went there today after booking via agoda.com and reading the reviews here. I paid $288 for a 3br unit prepaid and couldn't even check in it was so scary. I looked at 5 rooms and the first 4 were more like a hostel w folding chairs, dirty walls and maze like designs. The halls are tight and I had... More

Each unique room has charm. Furnishings are Ikea so they are new and modern. Every room has just what you will need for a stay of a few days or longer, even a month or more. The location is fantastic! Just steps from Vatican City and on a major metro and bus line within a block or so, it makes... More

A great location, a bit noisy but we were so tired each night it didn't matter. Well appointed but no breakfast (B & B without the B). The air conditioner broke our 2nd night. the next day we had two fans in our room to help make us comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable. would recommend this place to anyone considering... We stayed 4 nights and the location was a good base to explore around Rome. We had a 1 bedroom apartment and it was spacious enough with our luggage around. Our apartment was located at the annex bldg, quite a walk from the reception if you have heavy luggage with you. From the reception, we had to go to the... More

We visited Rome for our honeymoon, and the Residence Candia was our home for a week. We absolutely loved it! It's small, but not too small, and comes equipped with a full-functioning kitchen (small stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, etc.). The hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was also very comfortable, and we found... More

Residence Candia has excellent location. Two minutes to Cipro Metro station and ten minute walk to Vatican. We stayed here for five days. It is surrounded by many little cafes, restaurants and gelato shops. Apartments are on the small side, but so are all the other hotels in Rome, unless you shell out some serious cash. The staff was very... More
