We had no difficulties finding the "hotel" as other have pointed out, but don't look for neon lights or anything flashy. The area is quiet but close to the center, and full of restaurants, bars and gelatterias. We stayed at the Star Room and loved it. It was just what we needed. The rooms are carefully furnished and decorated. The... more

We were fortuate to have visited Rome twice this summer. We stayed at this hotel in September. We arrived at night and had a great deal of difficulty getting in through the unmarked gates. Staff was helpful. The rooms are decorated and furnished with designer furniture and fashions which are fine to photograph but totally non functional. They are overcrowded. Both... more

After reading glowing remarks about Villa Laetitia, imagine our disappointment in finding the Villa neglected. The front entrance was weed infested and the front entrance was broken apart with pieces of glass lying on the ground. After beeing buzzed in, we had to drag our luggage thru gravel to their reception area. We were given our key to the Garden... more

Why stay in a hotel in the busy city centre when you can experience living in a leafy green suburb of Rome in such an amazing property - gardens, roof top terrace a beautiful 1900's mansion? We stayed at Villa Laetita for 8 nights in May in the Loden room and I could not have imagined a better place to... more

I stayed at Villa Laetitia with friends in May and it was superb. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms were brilliant. It was great to have the fridge and the small kitchen facilities. We found a supermarket in the basement of Coin department store on Via Cola di Rienzo, 4 streets south of Lepanto metro station.There... more

Villa Laetitia is a beautiful hotel set back from a busy street. It is a bit tricky to find, but once my husband and I got all checked in, we were extremely pleased with our room. They were kind enough to upgrade us from a superior room to a senior suite (the Round room), and we could not have been... more

We stayed in the Garden Suite for 4 nights in March for a long weekend in Rome and had an absolutely wonderful time. Plans to get out and about early in Rome fell by the wayside when faced with the option of lounging in the morning sunshine on our private terrace having breakfast (which frequently turned into lunch before we... more

The taxi dropped us off at the hotel at about 6 pm, and I immediately worried that I had screwed up in my choice. We couldn't see the hotel. We could see only a big gate that we couldn't see through. After a couple of minutes, we figured out to push a buzzer, and the gates swung inward. Still, I... more

We stayed at Villa Laetitia in late September 2008. We found it a little difficult to find at first as, because it is a private villa, there are no big signs out the front and is easy to miss. Once located, a little trouble getting buzzed in which was abit off putting seeing we had just arrived in Rome and... more

My wife and I just completed a week in Rome at the Villa Laetitia, in the Prati area of Rome. The staff at the hotel, especially the cleaning staff, were terrific, and made up for the shortcomings of the hotel. The weather/ humidity in Rome was brutal, but the A/C at the hotel had been turned off a week earlier;... more
