We stayed at Casa Giovy for the second time, and have just returned from what can only be described as a sublime holiday experience. The eternal city, bathed as it was, in sheets of rain, was beautiful - despite the inclement weather. Our stay in Casa Giovy was great - comfortable, clean, convenient to everywhere (completely legendary bus service!!) and... more

Casa Giovy We booked a week at Bed and Breakfast Casa Giovy starting at October 5th 2008. It sounded romantic. We actually stayed only for one day on October 6th, since we had a problem with our flight. Casa Giovy advertises itself as bed and breakfast. They charged us 90 Euros per night for two people. (In Rome at this... more

We stayed here for one week and had a great stay! It is just a few minutes walking from St Peters Square and the busstop is almost at the door of the B&B. The cleaning is good and every morning we had a fine breakfast. And also the extra service like booking of a taxi from and to the airport... more

good: - cookies were there when we arrived - giovanna was more than helpful in planning bus routes, train routes, and giving local advice - we had a fridge in which we can keep water etc in. - pleasant decor in room - airconditioning was heavenly in the august heat - close to the vatican for the vatican touring days... more

We stayed in Rome only for two nights at casa giovy, Giovannas welcome was fabulous, her directions were great. She had arranged an airport transfer for us which was great when arriving in rome for the first time. Then she helped us plan our visit so we could see as much as possible in the short time. Even helping us... more

My husband & I stayed at this b&b for 4 nights mid July after seeing some good reviews on here & booking directly with Giovanna (the proprietor). Some of the higher rated properties were fully booked so when she got back to us with a decent price & with vacancies we thought we would be safe booking it. First... the... more

I and my family live here from years and believe me not use air conditioning I do not like, yet sleep at night, please read all the reviews and discover that I am not lying. I thank my host for the suggestion of mirrors, I had not never thought to this, but not for an economic problem! The coffee machine...

We stayed at Casa Giovy B&B in late April 2008. We contacted Giovanna, the owner as to what time we would arrive and were welcomed warmly by her and shown around our room. She provided a map and explanation of what there was to see and where it was located, and the best ways to get around. She had also... more

Really good accommodation and location extremely close to the Vatican and major transport links. Very friendly and helpful landlady who was able to offer practical advice on how to get the most out of our short stay. Would go back for sure! more
