We stayed at Welcome Rome for two nights - we were very pleased. Anna Maria is a wonderful host. She made us feel very at home and helped with all our questions. She was instrumental in helping us to arrange an early morning car to the airport. The lodgings more than met my expectations. Our room was very large and... more

Our stay with Anna-Maria and Mike has been on of the highlights of our 3 month European adventure. The B&B is in an apartment block 15 minutes tram ride from the centre of Rome. We stayed in the room with a shared bathroom which we shared with Anna-Maria & Mike - much better than most other shared bathrooms. The room... more

My daughter and I were in Rom from the 4. to the 11. of october 2009. Via Damaso Cerquetti is a place where you can enjoy your holiday in Rome. Anna Maria and her son Mike are very open and friendly. You can ask about anything you want to know and you can get a lot of information about living... more

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago during the winter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Anna Maria was not there but her son, Mike, was. Mike was AWESOME! His English was very good and he was very friendly. He even offered to drive us to the train station in his own car when we left so that... more

When you're on a city trip and you stay in a hotel it's okay, you can sleep eat and that's that. Welcome Rome has this little something extra: You are home! In a few words: Clean, very well maintained, very nice homely room, great service, good location, Anna-Maria and Mike are the nicest people and great tips for getting around... more

Welcome Rome is not right next door to the city center and sites (about a 45 min to 1 hour walk) but it is in a good neighborhood and is just down the street from public transportation (tram, bus, Trastevere station). My husband and I walked to and from the city center the two days we were in Roma and... more

I have been traveling for about 8 weeks now, and this place feels more like home than any place I have stayed. You are staying in Anna Maria's home. Mike (her son) comes by often and they both make you feel as if you live in the home. You can use the washer, the patio, etc. They are super nice... more

It's really great place to see Rome as the historic center is very crowded. Nice and quiet place only 10 min. with tram to the historic center. The rooms are perfectly clean and very beautiful. The nicest thing is Anna Maria. She speaks English very well and she is so helpful all the time. If I go again to Rome... more

This is a great place to stay for tourists seeking an affordable place, close to the historic city (10 min from nearby trainstation). The rooms are nice and absolutely clean! Mike and his mom are great, giving recommendations for food, places to see, transportation and so on! We had a blast, thank you very much more
