“2nd time around this year - still great!”

Went back to Angelo's great B&B on the Via Dandalo in Trastevere for a second time this year - same considerate welcome, excellent standard of comfortable accommodation, and the 3 friendly cats were friendly as ever. “Top Bed & Breakfast in the entire Europe”

I have been travelling to Europe in the last four years and I never found a place with that much personality and character as Il Boom, in Rome. “Amazing Bed & Breakfast”

A beautiful large and sunny bedroom and an amazing roof top terrace. Just a 15 minute walk into the old streets of Trastevere. We stayed in the Vitta room. Angelo was the perfect host. We would most certainly return and stay in Il Boom and would recommend to family and friends. More

“really good place to stay with family”

very clean and cosy room. it has a nice view through the window and the bathroom is marvelous. And the cute cats were my daughter's best friends. I will definitely come back to this place if I visit Rome again. Ah~ can't forget the beautiful terrace. More

Il Boom was a great B&B in a great location and walking distance to the cool restaurant and bar area -- Trastevere. The rooms were themed with famous period Italian actresses. We stayed in the Ana Magnani room it was great!. Angelo, the owner is so helpful and friendly. We would most certainly stay there again!! More

I chose Il Boom based on TripAdvisor reviews and am very glad I did. The house is in Trastevere, a very leafy part of Rome on the top of a hill overlooking the city. Very nice B&B in a great location. Excellent, friendly, helpful Angelo( the owner) a real plus. Easy walking distance to restaurants and roman daily and night life. We rated cleanliness and room a 5 because the Room and Bathroom are amazing clean and cool. The rooms were wonderful and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is delicious and you can eat it... More

“Such a lovely hotel!!”

We went in Rome for Easter and we really loved Il Boom!!! The decoration and the atmosphere was superb! We though we were entering a Fellini film set!! We stayed in the Sophia Loren room and it was a blast! The hotel is located in Trastevere... little far from the historic center... but buses pass in front of the hotel... More
