Located very close to the entrance to the Vatican Musuem, this B&B is ideally located for visits to Vatican CIty. Only a few (well lit) blocks away is the Metro so travel to other areas of Rome is convenient and inexpensive. Good restaurants are nearby as are shops and pharmacies. Located off-street in a courtyard of buildings, city noise disappears.... more

My girlfriend and I visited Rome for a romantic weekend- unfortunately the airline lost our luggage. It was returned the next day at the Strawberry House - which was apparently unheard of to the proprietors. In a fit of rage we were told 'how dare you have your luggage sent here?!' Hmm. Well first off I would say that we had a devil of a time finding this place. Its actually part of an apartment building and therefore not very well signed. We managed to eventually find it, by checking the names on the apartment bell lists. We were amazed at the size of the place when we got there. As I... more
