The nicely appointed rooms in the Piazzo Barberini area were only outmatched by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Stayed two nights at Tolentino and had a great experience. Compared to B&Bs and agriturismos we'd just stayed at in other parts of Italy it wasn't cheap - our double was 150 Euro. After 6 months renovation, B&B Tolentino is back in business. All rooms now have private baths. Nicely decorated, reasonably priced, good breakfast (served in room - no dining area), convenient location with a knowledgeable and pleasant host, "Joey". Family of 4 travelled Europe June/July 07 and spent 3 nights in Rome at the Tolentino Bed and Breakfast. B&B Tolentino is in an ideal location for seeing all of Romes major sites. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Coloseum are all within easy walking distance and if the weather is good you can walk to The Vatican. If you get here late in the day and don't fancy going to far we'd recommend have a couple of beers... more
