Is not properly a four star hotel. Located in central position, very closet to colosseum and S. Giovanni square, above metro station called “Manzoni”. I stayed in a queen sized bed room faced on the main street, very noisy during the day. I had some accident with the shower and with the bathroom in general, because there wasn’t a mechanical... We stayed here for 2 nights in mid November 2011. The first thing we noticed as soon as we walked into our room was the offensive smell of sewerage coming from the bathroom, but we were told by friends that this is common in hotels of Rome so we kept our room window open as much as we could. The... More

This a good hotel if you're not looking for anything romantic or special. It basically fullfills all your needs, at a very decent price. So it that is ok for you, look no further and stop reading. Go and enjoy. The breakfast is simple but adequate and it will release you from having to breakfast outside somewhere. Don't expect freshly... More

As I fractured my hip in Rome my husband and I stayed at Hotel Milton for 6 weeks. The Staff were superb and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Housekeeping was exemplary and nothing was too much trouble..We enjoyed the large selection of breakfast dishes and the fresh fruit platters... More

I needed to stay in Central Rome near public transport for a one week work trip. I prepaid for this hotel because it was independent and because of the predominantly positive reviews on TripAdvisor. I checked the hotel website to make sure it would have the ammenities I need to work (wifi in the rooms and the ability to print... More

A decent hotel for location with fantastic staff all of which are kind and helpful. However for the price I would expect more as a pretty frequent hotel user. Great for colosseum and for historical parts of Rome but I think you could find more bang for your buck elsewhere More

The four star review here is based purely on the following: Location - about 10 minute’s walk from the coliseum, about 15 minute’s walk from Termini Price - very reasonable, especially given the really nice breakfast Service - decent if not excellent. But during my stay I came to expect this of Romans - fairly efficient and generally helpful, but... More

Bad location. Bad service - our AC didn't work. They told us they fixed it but hadn't. Eventually they just gave us a new room. This room was better but it felt dirty. Tiny bar area that was deserted. Not a great experience. I don't recommend staying here, we won't stay here again. More

The hotel is ok but ONLY if you get a room at the back. My first night at the front was so noisy that I hardly slept (Room 317 above Via Emanuele Filiberto). I was so annoyed that I even tried to move rooms at 2am but was told there wasn’t a quiet one available – so that guaranteed a... More
