I am sorry it has taken me so long to post here, but I wanted to set up a web site of our trip. I did a travelogue as we went and wanted to post lots of pictures. You can find our trip under Italy at: www.galatitravel.com We stayed at San Jouan In Rome and absolutely loved it! It was... More

This little B&B is well situated, near the Colleseum, from the airport we decided to take a shuttle that would take us directly to the B&B since the price was not all that different than taking the train, we appreciated that. I would suggest this to anyone that is planning on going to this B&B. Our welcoming was really nice,... More

The San Jouan is very easy to find, just a few hundred yards from the metro. Many parts of Rome are not served by the metro so this was a bonus. The area is quiet, authentic and non touristy, but within easy walking distance of the Colosseum. The guest house itself is entered by way of a pleasant courtyard and... More

San Jouan Guest House is a very nice B&B close to Colloseo. The staff was extremely helpful and the service was perfect. Very, very clean, free water, coffee and Wifi, big rooms (a window would have been nice, though) and very safe. We will be back, for sure! More

We stayed here after reading some of the reviews here and were not let down. Excellent emails from the staff with great maps making getting there very easy. You enter through an iron gate and we thought we were going into normal apartments - a real suprise to find a little oasis tucked away! Really quiet, we stayed in the... More

This B&B is the exception to the usual substandard places one often encounters in the cities of Europe. The entry is through a standard apartment type of door/driveway that fools you into thinking that the inside will be as bland. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The owners have created a beautiful oasis of stylish comfort and surroundings. You... More

Our profile: quite decent and couple in their late 20's- early 30's, too old to make low standard compromises, but too young to book into a quality hotel. If you are similar to us, we highly recommend to stay here, if you are different, you might read what we liked in San Jouan B&B during our short holiday of 3... More

We booked a 1-night stay at this hotel well in advance of our trip (more than a month) and we got confirmation on our booking. Two weeks after the reservation, they notified us (by email!!!) that they had decided to cancel our booking. They gave us a ridiculous excuse for doing this (claiming that they had not received the reservation... More

We stayed here for three days. It was close to some of the great locations in Rome. The Metro was about a ten minute walk which made for easy travel around Rome There are plenty of restaurants around the area . Having to go to breakfast off site was a bonus as we met several locals. The facilities were great... More

We stayed here upon a recommendation of a friend. We liked it very much, especially it's location. When we arrived in Rome, it was very hot (101 degrees Farenheit) and the air conditioner in our room, number 2, was not working well. This could well be as a result of the heat outside. Overall, I'd stay here again. People speak... More
