It was our first time in Europe and our first stay in a European hotel. We were also overflowed to the Dock (free 1 star upgrade). Not speaking Italian and being in unfamiliar territory we were happy to learn that the Dock is located across from a police station. We found the Hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful... more

We were originally meant to stay in one of the hotels on the busy main street in Rome but were overflowed to Hotel Dock for the same price (only 90 euros/night for 2 ppl), which turned out to be just as good if not better.
