The façade of the building is under reconstruction at the moment and there is no metion of that on the site of the b&b! We couldn’t open the window because of the building slabs, so we had to turn on the lights even in the morning. I also could not help but thinking that someone could climb the slabs and... More

Classy hotel with a B&B next door. Stayed in the B&B in a 'quad' room for 2 adults, 2 children. The room was well furnished, clean, with a fantastic bathroom (including hydro bath) and daily maid service. The hotel staff were very accomodating, most of whom spoke fluent english. The restaurant for our buffet breakfast was comfortable, with fantastic views... More

We had a wonderful four days in Rome, thanks particularly to the very good facilities at the above place. The B & B is a part of the Atlante Hotel and we enjoyed the facilities available at the hotel for the residents of the B & B including breakfast in the roof-top restaurant. Being on a main road it was... More

I took my elderly mother and my daughter to Rome and we stayed in Maison Royale. They couldn't have been more attentive. We had a very large room with one queen size bed ( 2 singles pushed together and made up as one) and two further singles. A large bathroom with jukuzzi hydromassage bath. The appartment is about three doorways... More

We were booked into the B& B portion(La Maison Royale) of the hotel Atlante Star which would have been fine except that we needed 3 beds and for some reason only had 1. The hotel quickly and graciously provided an Apartment behind the hotel for our stay. The hotel and Apartment were conveniently located near the Vatican and the English... More

After reading several reviews on hotels in Rome, we weren't quite sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. This bed and breakfast was not your traditional B&B, but rather picture it as an apartment without a kitchen. The rooms in the apartment are individual rooms that you rent out. Each room comes with a refrigerator bar, its own... More

The Maison Royale B&B is not a true B&B. Keep this in mind when you book. You are in a very updated ensuite apartment (with only a mini bar) so this gives the impression of a hotel. The Atlante Hotel is beside the B&B and breakfast component is served on the top floor of this hotel. This is the real... More

Although this hotel is classified as a B&B, it is actually next to, and affiliated with the Hotel Atlantique, a 4 or 5 star property. For the money, you'd be hard-pressed to beat it. The bedroom and bathroom were very large, and the bed was quite comfortable. The bathroom, albeit clean, had some mold on the shower wall, and the... More

We have just returned from a 4 night stay in Rome. We have been to Rome quite a few times and this time we decided to stay close to the Vatican City in order to explore this area in more details. We found La Maison Royale on the Internet (Romeby(-)) and made a booking approx 2 months before our trip.... More
