We traveled with friends, and stayed 4 nights Rooms were really spacious and immaculate, but we had problems with our shower which fluctuated between scalding and cold. A fellow B&Ber couldn't get any hot water at all. The twin-bedded "doubles" were reasonably comfy, and the noise level from the street was minimal. Lavinia, the owner, and Lourdes, the on-site manager... More

My wife and I spent Easter week at Bed and Breakfast Le Finestre sul Vaticano. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very good typical Italian B & B but very friendlyy service by Laurdes. On Easter Sunday Massimo and Lavinia came by to make sure we were having a good stay. The hoastess Laurdes was very... More

We saw the recommendation for this quaint B&B in the New York Times and enjoyed our stay and its convenient location near the Vatican. The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable and our host Lourdes was very accomodating, friendly and helpful. She even walked with us to show us the best path to the Vatican, pointing out good shoe shops... More

Always ready to assist with information of interest .The room was spacious and spotless. The B&B is walking distance to the Metro and the Vatican. General transportation (buses) across the street. We could do away with the breaffast. The Hostess Lourdes, is a complete delight, we miss Her and Her disposition. The Price is right. More

The owners of this B&B have provided a beautiful, spacious apartment for its guests next to the Vatican (only minutes away). We found the B&B to be quiet and provided a relaxing respite for the holidays. The hostess that lives on site was extremely pleasant and helpful with our requests and went the extra mile to make sure we were... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in Aug09. Unfortunately, our bed was broken, and we landed up sleeping on the floor for all four nights. The place is clean and otherwise comfortable, and the hosts are really very nice, and breakfast is decent as well. This place is really close to the Vatican, and in the residential area, which would... More

Clean rooms and good transport links. Helpful owners. For some reason we expected a nicer setting but maybe all the streets in Rome are a bit rough and scruffy! Maybe it was the grandiose 'Fenestre sul Vaticano' title? We stayed for four nights but were not too impressed to be told on arrival that we had to change from our... More

We just got back from Rome and a week with Max and Lavinia at Le Finestre sul Vaticano. They were a delight and so helpful in arranging transportation and giving invaluable advice on public transportation. They were available for answering questions and we enjoyed chatting with them. They were so helpful for when to schedule seeing popular sights, especially the... More

I stayed at this bed and breakfast in May 2007. This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast. I enjoyed my experience. Its actually a condo located right beside the vatican museum entrance and is on the 6th floor. Each room is equipped with A/C and a private bathroom(one room might not have one, request a private...
