We stayed here in May. We weren't sure what to expect though had read the reviews and hoped for a pleasant stay - When in European cities, we tend to go for 'local' hotels where we hope to get the local experience at a relatively good price. We got this with hotel perugia. Room size is relatively small, but you... More

I spent four days here in October. From the research I had done before going, I knew it was quite a basic hotel and it turned out to be just what I expected. Although basic, it was very clean and comfortable. I had the use of a shared shower room (I had agreed to this at time of booking) and... More

Located in the centre of Rome (6min walk to the Colloseum & Forum) with good range of shops/resturants & the metro very nearby.... so if your time is limited in Rome it is ideal with all the major sites incl. The Vatican only a 10min metro ride away. I walked to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain & San Giovanni Cathedral from... More

We chose this hotel because of its central location. It is by the subway station "Coloseo" which was very handy, and within easy walking distance of many of the main sights in Rome, eg. Pantheon etc. The staff were helpful but the room was dark and old fashioned, the bed very poor and uncomfortable, and the breakfast disappointing - just... More

Hotel was clean and had a nice feel to it. Towels were changed everyday, breakfast was basic staff were polite and friendly. The room I booked was a single, small with a shared bathroom. Was perfect for me as all I wanted was somewhere to put my head down after sightseeing all day. Only issues I had was that the... More

The hotel itself is very small located on a very quiet side street behind the Colosseum's subway stop. Pros: Cheap, clean, next to subway stop and major attraction (the Colosseum), close to tons of food shops, offers breakfast, very quiet street so no noise whatsoever. Cons: Extremely difficult to find. I asked a bunch of people on the street where... More

The staff at this hotel were absolutely lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was with the room itself. We had requested a room for 5 people on a low level as my mother who is 62 was traveling with us. We were given the top (5th floor) and had to carry 3 suitcases up a spiral... More

So...the location was GREAT....2min walking to colloseum and the metro... BUT I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS TO ANYONE.... I would go for a more axpensive one or one more far that center but descent. 1. NO LIFT...we had to carry our bags on the curly stairs AND the staff did not even offer to helo 2. The bed was so... More

I chose this hotel for my 70 year old father who was traveling solo in Rome. I picked it purposely because of the central location and because it was family-run. My father told me of how impressed he was with the time that the hotel staff took to help him with travel plans around Rome. They were very friendly and... More
