I went twice in this cosy hotel, with few romantic chamber in a roman-style little house very near to Isola Tiberina, a beautyful small island on the river Tevere in the centre of Rome. People there have been very friendly and I suggest to stay there specially if you are with a romantic partner! I tried more tomes to go... More

Spent 5 nights in January 2013 The breakfast is extremely light, just one small industrial cookie, thus avoid booking the room including the breakfast because you will have to find outside something to eat. They have even no hot water for the tea, nothing to drink except industrial tea of coffee (in a plastic glass) from a machine with coins,... More

Dear Madame, The typical Italian breakfast is sweet. Is made of an hot beverage, like cappuccino, tea or coffee, with something sweet to eat as croissants, toast with butter, jam or Nutella, and a juice. This is a "Continental Breakfast". Eggs? Ham? Sausages? Bacon? Sorry but in Italy are considered dinner foods. If you love those foods we suggest to... More

We had a great time at Hotel Domus Tiberina. Rome is really hot in July so I suggest to book your stay on September or October. Hotel is located in a charming square just in front of Tiberina Island. Rooms are clean and cool. WiFi Internet access is free and fast. Concierge service is available 24hrs. We were informed about... More

A lot of arguing for getting the price booking agent had confirmed to us. Hotel clerk insisted adding taxes etc on the confirmed price that already included taxes. Air condition work very poorly at first. Not until next day, another clerk understood how we suffered in the heath and cleaned the filter (made wonders) The confirmed "breakfast buffé" was a... More

Dear guest, I perfectly remember you and your quite husband because during Euro 2012 football match Italy-Germany you asked to check your air conditioner. About extra taxes, this is not correct because nothing is hidden. Your travel agent didn,t inform you that all visitors have to pay Rome Tourist tax. Sorry but this is clear, shown in Rome Municipality website... More

My family and I LOVED Hotel Domus Tiburina! We stayed a full week around Capo D'Anno and could not have been happier. Location was ideal! Best part of ROME! Room was clean and cozy - and provided all necessary ammenities. Prima collazione (breakfast) was perfect- small, Italian style - just like we like it, and the nice lady making our... More

The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Trastevere which is great for places to eat or have a drink in the evenings. However the double room we stayed in was tiny, barely room to place our bags in there with the bed! The bathroom was also very small. I'm 6ft1 and only just managed to be... More

We always respect our guests opinions. Please let me explain my point. We welcome more than 5000 people every year in our small hotel. It doesn't exist a perfect service in a luxury 5 stars hotel and it doesn'exist a perfectly guest too. Sometime guest that smoke for 5 days into a no smoking room, leave a bad complain for... More

Very cute small cosy hotel in the heart of Trastevere that makes the main places of Rome accessible on foot. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and very warm. I liked specially the antique style of the hotel creating the atmosphere of the eternal city. The unique minus, in my opinion, was... More

My single room was tiny. Not wide enough to stretch two arms out. The bed was similar small, a bit like a camp stretcher. Worst was located behind reception with no sound proofing. Difficult to sleep hearing every movement and greeting in reception. Don't know what other rooms are like but avoid the ground floor and don't get excited over... More

The mattresses were as hard as they can be - no comfort. The carpets were dirty and worn. The walls had mould on them. The breakfast was the cheapest, low quality breakfast ever served in a hotel. And the worst is the price, which does not at all compare to the quality. One good thing; location. Not to be recommended... More
