This was the first stop on a 26 day trip throughout Italy. I was travelling with my two children ages 16 and 12. The hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood in between Santa Maria Maggiore and San Giovanni en Laterano. It was steps away to the metro stop and there was a grocery store directly across the street. We... More

When I stayed at the Albergo Giusti it was August and Rome was HOT. The air conditioning on my two nights was excellent. In fact, I was cold. Fortunately, the nuns provide guests with a remote control for the AC so you can control the temperature somewhat - by turning it off. The AC is also quiet, the unit is... More

We stayed at Albergo Giusti, a short distance from the Roma train station for two nights in the beginning of December 2008 at the very end of our trip to Italy. The nuns were very kind and helpful even arranging for ground transportation to the airport for an early morning flight. We asked for a room facing the courtyard and... More

This property is well located - it is located within walking distance from Coliseum and other important cites, it is close to the metro (less than two blocks away), it is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, so you do not feel surrounded by hordes of tourists at all time. The building itself is pretty charmless 1950s concrete structure and... More

We spent 6 nights at Albergo Giusti in late May 2008 and couldn't find fault with it. Our room was a good size with an en suite and the air conditioning was very welcome in the Rome heat. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful as were the nuns. The location was great - 10 min walk to Roma Termini... More

We stayed at the Albergo Giusti following a twelve day Carnival Freedom cruise and found it to be a wonderful place to stay. We were very pleased with the accommodations and just loved our small balcony. The room was very basic, but spacious and clean and the staff were very helpful with restauraunt suggestions, booking a taxi for transport to... More

My husband and I (Australians) arrived in Rome on 30 Dec. 2008 and spent a wonderful week at Albergo Giusti. Our room was quite large with an ensuite which contained toiletries as supplied by upmarket hotels. The room was spotless with plenty of hanging and drawer space for our clothes. There was also a desk which we used when writing... More

Warm friendly staff. Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. Great location. Breakfast is simple. Definitely great value for the price. More

I found out about staying in convents in Rome from a friend, and the Albergo Giusti was able to fit me in at the last minute with only a few days pre-booking required in the high season in Rome. For 50 E a night, I have my own room with two beds, TV, air conditioning, SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, I CANNOT EMPHASIZE... More

I recently stayed at the Albergo Giusti, a convent converted to a hotel and run by the Sisters of Santa Anna. We were a group of 6 and only stayed there one night as we transferred to an apartment the next day. We had great difficulty finding a hotel for a single night and so were very glad that they...
