My fiance and I stayed at the Augustea hotel for a long weekend in November. The room was clean and comfortable with modern fittings. The pictures in the brochure's make it look a bit dated but we were pleasantly surprised. We booked through Citalia who were brilliant, even arranging taxi transfer to and from FCO airport. The breakfast, was your... More

Having read the trip advisor reviews I was nervous about this hotel. Family of four with older kids. The first night we were in a very small, hot and very noisy room but the very kind and lovely gentleman on reception explained we would be moved to a larger room the next day. True to his word we moved to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. (March 25-28) We had a great experience. The location was amazing. We could walk everywhere and if you did not want to the bus was out front. We had no problems with the 2 gentlemen that worked at the front desk. They were always friendly and helpful to us. Our room was huge and... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is very close to the Termini and the major attractions can be covered on foot. Now the negatives... the entrance itself is very uninviting. You take a fleet of stairs up to the second level and are greeted by unwelcoming staff. The rooms are clean but carry a very... More

the room we had was really big. It was facing the main road but that didn't bother us. The room did not have the euro powerplugs but the old italian one with 3 pins in a row. However the staff were great and gave us one for the duration of our stay. The breakfast room is rather small so do... More

The location is great. The staff were helpful. They saw that we were a senior couple and carried our bags up to the next floor for us but the daily walk up the stairs after walking all day in Rome is tiring. There is a small elevator for part of the way but still have to walk up. The room... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and here is The Good, the hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to the main sites and transport at your doorstep, the receptionist was very pleasant more so with my husband that could speak Italian than with me who couldn't, the room was clean and quite spacious. The... More

Considering cost, location and comfort was reasonable value. Booked 3 nights online for triple room , 3 males 56, 22 & 17. Room was out the back, quiet, no view, beds comfortable, clean, shower ok. No complaints really. Sure breakfast room tiny seats maybe 12 but usually was space. A struggle up steep stairs if have heavy bag, tiny lift... More

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is its location - close to Termini station. The entrance looks depressing and grubby and, on reaching reception, my cheerful 'buona sera' greeting was met by a cold stare from the male receptionist and a hostile 'si?'. This rude man complained bitterly that I had no hotel voucher even though... More

It is funny but I made the reservation at the Rome airport through an intermediary who assisted in the location of this hotel. She stated the room would be really nice and the bed would be king sized. The bed was the size of a full american bed and no where near a queen. In the bathroom, I killed two... More
