A great hotel very close to Termini station. All famous sites can be reached by foot or bus. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, also very helpful with information especially Sajeewa, who helped us out on anything that we required. Breakfast was continental and very good compared to other Italian hotels; fresh coffee or a variety of teas, toast,... More

Hubby and I stayed here one night on our late arrival to Rome on the recommendation of a friend who had stayed there for 2 weeks a few months earlier. We often travel together and have very similar ideas of what is acceptable and what isnt. I have to believe she was given a much better room as hers was... More

Helpful staff, wifi included, excellent breakfast also included. Rooms a bit on the small side. Termini is not exactly the best area, but it's convenient and cheap. Overall a good bargain considering the alternatives we found. Rooms include a (free) safe box. Most important: it's very clean. Biggest downside: all bathrooms are very noisy: if your room neighbor uses it... More

In short an excellent hotel in a very good part of Rome if you want to explore, be near to all the famous sites and have the support of a very friendly staff! The owner of the hotel Assisi was helpful to us from the word go. Sajeewa the hotel manager, did everything possible to help my wife and I... More

Stayed in this dreadful hotel for one night on arrival in Italy. We chose it based on reviews on Trip Advisor and because of it's proximity to the train station. The hotel was abysmal. Dingy, unfriendly staff bordering on arrogant. No they were arrogant and entirely unhelpful. There were holes in the threadbare bedspread, the air conditioning was noisy, the... More

Just one block from the Termini station - this hotel offers a comfortable spacious room, cozy bed, air conditioning, fridge and modest continental breakfast. All you want from a hotel and at a good price for being in the city center. The neighborhood around the hotel is quite diverse - with delicious Indian restaurants close by for cheap prices.

Breakfast was no good, staff was borderline rude, there was AC in the room until we booked it, then it was just a fan. Dirty place, found lots of hair on my floor, stairway is disgusting. At checkout the lobby clerk didn't understand any english... Don't go there

The pluses are that the staff are really friendly and helpful and it's in a great central location. Hotel itself could best be described as adequate. It's the right side of seedy but is definitely "tired" and badly in need of investment. So it's ok - but I'll try somewhere else next time.

Having been let down by a bed and breakfast on a busy Friday night in Rome, we managed to find the Hotel Assisi. They found us 5 rooms for our group of 13 but could only fit us in for one night. The staff at the front desk then phoned around on our behalf overnight to locate us somewhere else... More

Booked via Late Rooms and managed to get a 3rd night free for the price of 2. Hotel is located within a few minutes walk of the central station, which is ideal for dropping bags off and exploring the city. 15 mins walk from the Coleseum and the main centre including the Trevi fountain. Room though not large, more than... More
