Stayed for 1 night, the hotel was very nice, beautiful courtyard to sit and have a drink or pot of tea. Location is excellent for the Vatican, we even saw the Pope on the Wednesday. Room had everything you needed except for tea making facilities which were really needed after a day of sightseeing. more

Right next door to the Vatican City it is ideally situated if the Vatican is your main focus for the trip. The courtyard/lobby is the best I have ever experienced but, a common theme with Italy and indeed most European cities, the room was small. Upon check-in we were told that they were giving us a quiet room facing via Santo Spirito (the back side of the hotel) because the rooms are quieter as opposed to facing the front as shown on all the advertisements. Location, staff, breakfast and room exceeded our expectations. A sanctuary. Will definitely go again; who cares if the shower is a bit small? I'd gladly trade that for the electronic black-out blinds and calm and tranquility of this haven. Divine! more
