After reading previous reviews of this hotel we decided to stay here. The rooms are small but very clean and very charming. The photos you see of the hotel do not do it justice. I couldn't have been happier with this pensione. The room was small, but clean and the bed was comfortable. There were two full bathrooms down the hall, and they were always clean and available (no waiting), plus we had a sink in our room. This hotel has an excellent location, the room was charming but small, and the bathroom was nice - even had a statue in it. Basically, it was nicer than I expected given the price. Although the location is hard to beat, we found the rooms incredibly small and stuffy and the shared bathroom was not always that clean. Another thing we found troublesome was that the doors to the hotel and the door to our floor always seemed to be left wide open. The worst part of our stay there was being awoken late... more

Visited Rome with 3 x 18 yr old boys. Was originally concerned the tours were not going to hold their interest.
