Room on second floor, ex-smokers ( still had smoke stains on walls and curtains as well as the smell. ) very cramped for room and would not recommend at all. worst than a dorm room at a hostel. Had a fridge that didn't work as was well as a shower that leaked as previous reviews. Obviously nothing has changed at...

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel in Jan 2011. The rooms are incredibly small, at least the one I stayed in (ground floor). The walls are one meter away from the bed only. The shower stall doesn't close, therefore the bathroom becoms a swimming pool after 10 minutes. The ventilation is noisy and starts running as soon as the bathroom's...

We pleased right from the start with the friendly service of the manager Paolo as he let us into our room early so that we could explore the city without our luggage. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom very clean. It was a great place to rest after a day of touring; quiet and peaceful.
A great deal and...

I was thorughly impressed with the service of the Galeno Hotel - admittedly one of the cheaper hotels and value for money - the rooms were clean and the hotel staff very friendly and welcoming - also speak English which was helpful as I don't speqk much italian. The receptionist Paolo was most welcoming. The hotel isn't too far from...

The room is unbelievably small, the room I stay has a bathroom with width no more than 1 meter, terrible. They do not have hot enough water, wireless only works within a few meters near the front desk.. it's the most terrible hotel I've ever had in my life.

To be fair we knew it was a budget Hotel & I think people may have high expectations...Location is great once you know where you going, Porta Pia is close to bus stop or if you prefer to walk to Termini it is doable, once there easy to get to main attractions. Watch out in the metro, very very crowded...

If you need a simple accomodation with a good location, you can choose this hotel. It's only 20 min. walk from Termini Station in the district of embassies. /Hungarians! Hungarian embassy is next to the hotel! :) /
The room was comfortable and tidy, but the heating was unsatisfactory: the room was very cold (we were there in winter). When...

If you just want a place to sleep and take a shower, this hotel is a good option. Location is excellent, very close to Porta Pia, where all of the important bus lines pass, and to small and nice restaurants (we had dinner every night at La Montecarlo, just one block away). Rooms are very small, but clean, and the...
