Hi- 8 of us stayed at the hotel and had a brilliant time. Lovely rooms (although street can be a little noisy). Delicious breakfast. Incredibly kind and attentive staff. Good bar across the road. Definitely recommend the hotel!! More

Finally, a true 4 star hotel in the very heart of Rome! While many supposed "4 stars hotel" in the center of Rome are literally dives you just want run away from, this delicious boutique hotel offered us a beautiful room, a very professional and polite crew (which is something very rare in Rome, unfortunately) and an elegant atmosphere. The... More

I would totally recommend to sleep here, of you want a cheap, luxury, downtown hotel. Right across piazza barberini and Fontana Di trevi. More

Located meters from Piazza di Barberini, and short walk from both Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. Double Superior room was great and relatively spacious in comparison to the hole we stayed in the last time we where in Rome. Breakfast was nice and the staff was welcoming. If you don't mind paying close to £200 a night then... More

We arrived at the Stendhal and we were welcomed by Damiano, the receptionist on the evening shift. We left our staff and went out and about in Rome to enjoy. We came back late at night exhausted from our trip too, and we noticed on our bedsheets that there were HAIR from previous clients and it was just disgusting. On... More

Dear customer, we are sincerely sorry for not having met your satisfaction, unfortunately, two critical situations are added during your stay. Regarding the noises heard in the morning, these were caused by work in the adjoining building and not inside of the Stendhal; we were not advised about the work, if we had known we asking, as usual, to start... We were welcomed at Hotel Stendhal by the friendly Damiano and the very polite porter showed us a great room. The actual bedroom was small but we had a walk-in wardroom, a well-equipped marble bathroom and (we had been upgraded!!) a fantastic terrace. On crisp sunny mornings and chilly evenings we enjoyed sitting out in the open. Our room was... More

we hardly could walk around the room as it was so tiny compared to the pics. but we were told that is how it is is Rome. The hotel was conveniently located and the breakfast was average compared to what we were used to in florence. stay here for convenience of location. staff at breakfast were not too polite. More

I stayed at this hotel on summer 2011 and as almost all reviews say, the rooms are quite small but they are very clean and comfortable. The location is superb and breakfast is enough for starting the day. The most important thing is the great help and attention you can get from the staff, specially from its manager Fabrizio. We... We stayed for 5 days in June and loved every minute. The hotel is ideal for exploring Rome, with public transport very near, but you can walk to The Spanish Steps and The Trevi fountain and shopping areas with ease. Very helpful staff, rooms are small but spotlessly clean, good continental breakfast and loads of places to eat within 10... More

Great location (we walked from the train station and its close to a metro stop as well) with Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps a short walk away. Room was on the small side but not a hinderance to my husband, me and our 14 month old. Still plenty of room for us. Pay attention to room size when booking (we... More
