I originally booked a room in the sister hotel but when I arrived, I was told that they had problems with rooms and that they booked the room at a different hotel (Seiler). I didn't have to pay extra, since there's about 18 euros difference in price for two nights. They even refunded my taxi fair. The location for Seiler... more

Hi, I reserved this hotel through the Airport of Rome office (since all the reviews that I read on different hotels, did not allow me to book none). For 40 euros a night, this was a bargain. Hotel was clean (rooms are small, but that is ok, you still have a small table). The bathroom wa completely renovated. All was... more

Do not stay at room 107. Semi basement with 1 small frosted window overlooking communal courtyard. No A/C.No lift. Small bedroom , hardly anywhere for the bags, so travel light ( 1 small bag). There is only enough space around the double bed for a single person to pass so if there are 2 people, one will have to be... more

When we arrived they were cleaning the reception, when I put my arm on the desk of the reception they warned me, but too late .. the sleeve of my jacket was full of bleach stains. The hotel wasn't in any way prepared to contribute to the damage they caused. I really wouldn't have asked for the full price of... more

We dont recommend it at all!Be careful before choosing it!Althourgh they say that the hotel has an elevator, the trouth is that the elevator is always out of service, so,you have to step to the 4th floor (107 stairs!)carrying all your luggage without help! They use to say that the problem of the elevator is "only for today",but they lie. Also, they retrench... more

Anna - UK. I saw some of the other reviews on this hotel on tripadvisor before booking and they were all pretty mixed. To be honest my friend and i stayed for three nights and we couldn't ask for a better budget hotel. It is definitely a 2 star so you can't expect luxury and it isn't a massive breakfast... more

I stayed at the Hotel Seiler Dec 07 - I searched for the best price & location for a single traveller, and I think I found it. The staff were friendly, helpful & spoke english well. Main bus stops on Via Nazionale are a minute's walk away, and are the first stops after Termini on the 40 Express and 64... more

We only stayed 8 hours since we needed a place to rest between Milan and leaving Rome. The young woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The room was disgusting; bathroom was molding, we couldn't even get an extra pillow. There was no air conditioning and the overhead fan, when turned on shook and made so much... more

I'm afraid to say I was a little disappointed with Hotel Seiler. I was travelling on a budget so therefore was not expecting too much but I do at least expect a clean room. The bathroom was tiny with mould on the walls, and there was filth collecting in the corners of the room and under the bed. From reading... more

Very good hotel, in a very good area (opposite the Italian Ministry of Defence) well kept and friendly staff. It is not a hotel for 'luxuries' but if you want a clean place to sleep then this is it. In walking distance of the colloseum and Vatican, good restaurants and bars in the area. I would recommend this hotel to... more
