The overall experience wasn't entirely unsatisfactory, however, the area where the Marconi is located is 2 blocks from Rome Termini and is not the most desirable area to be in. The hotel's web site notes that every room has air conditioning and an internet connection. The hotel has NO internet connections in ANY room. The Hotel Marconi is placed wonderfully round the corner from the train station and therefore also within just a few minutes walk to Rome's tube system.
