The only hotel in Rome that accepted a booking for 2 adults and 3 kids in one room and the room we stayed in was recently refurbished to a comfortable modern standard. Location was great with all historic sites in range of a decent walk or bus and metro. Hotel breakfast was basic continental but fine and with decent coffee... more

The staff are very helpful and kind! My wallet was taken by a pickpocket at Rome. I lost cash, credit cards, drivers license, etc. But fortunately the staff assisted me and arranged everythig to require kindly. more

This hotel is at a perfect location next to the Termini, easy to get around the city with the subway and buses just around the corner. A quiet hotel with friendly and very service minded staff that helped alot with all my questions about Rome. Clean rooms, good breakfast and free internet! I will stay here again and I always... more

Arriving by train at Termini Station in Rome city centre (costs 11 euros from the Airport, so don't take an expensive transfer if you don't want to, the train ride only takes 30mins!!), we found out the hotel was just around the corner!! Excellent location not only for arriving, tired travellers, but also as a starting point for the many... more

I spent a weekend in Marco Polo and I really like it. Is fantastic position to visit the city and the hotel is great, the people working there are keen to customer's satisfaction. I'm sure that next time in Rome I'll spend again my night there and I'll suggest it to all my friends travelling to this great city. more

After arriving in Rome - this hotel FAILED to schedule our airport transfer which resulted in a VERY scary cab ride into the city costing 80 Euros per car. After some HOSTILE negotiations the concierge was assaulted by the cab driver. The lift in the hotel takes only one guest and suitcase at at time. When you arrive at Reception... more

Marco Polo was the worst experience on our trip. The bed covers smelled of smoke and stench. There were moulds in the bathrooms, breakfast was very average. We paid too much for what we received in terms of quality or service. The hotel location was good and convienent. I would never go back there. more

I stayed during the height of summer and was REALLY happy they have air conditioning! The location around the hotel is quite busy with walkers-by, and it's really close to the main Roman train station, Termini. Don't expect a stellar room. It's good deal for the money, though. more
